Well, there are plenty of options for those interested in working for Reno's largest companies. If you're looking to start over in a new city, maybe it's time for a new career path as well. If you are interested in a new industry, maybe you're looking for something more exciting than working with strapping machinery, you should take a look at Reno's top employers.

Tourism is by far the biggest industry in Reno. More than five million people visit the city each year and this opens the way for many different jobs. There are four different casinos on the city's list of the top ten employers. These are Silver Legacy Resort Casino, the Reno Hilton, Eldorado Hotel & Casino, and Peppermill Hotel & Casino. Instead of getting a job working with suction diffusers you could be working in customer service or entertainment in one of these major venues.

Tourism is not the only game in town in Reno though. Education takes up the top two employment slots in the city. The Washoe County School District has more than seven thousand job positions. If you're interested in working in this industry you could be making anything from cement to suntan lotion. Trade, transportation and utilities is the top industry in the city.
